Our 100% Raw North American Honey

“The honeybee lives as if it were in an air saturated thoroughly by love.”
-R. Steiner

Honeyopathy sources our honey from a local woman-owned beekeeping business whose honey is raw, meaning it is never heated over the temperature the honeybees keep it in the hive.

Their honeybees (apis melliferae), long regarded as models of industry and purity, collect their nectar and pollen from only in the parts of their plant that are centered in love. Our bees and their honey is lovingly cultivated and sourced for optimal positive Qi which energizes the medicinal and taste of our small-batch spirits.

As such, the major benefits of raw honey as a super food source include:

  • Antioxidant: Honey contains plant chemicals that act as antioxidants and the more variety of plants and vegetables it sources from, the more antioxidants it contains. Antioxidants help to protect your body from cell damage due to free radicals, which contribute to the aging process and may also contribute to the development of chronic diseases such as cancer and heart disease. Research shows that antioxidant compounds in honey called polyphenols may play a role in preventing heart disease.
  • Antibacterial and Anti-fungal: Research has shown that raw honey can kill unwanted bacteria and fungus. It naturally contains hydrogen peroxide, an antiseptic.
  • Phytonutrient Immune Boosting: Phytonutrients are compounds found in plants that help protect the plant from harm. The phytonutrients in honey are responsible for its antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-fungal power and immune-boosting and anticancer benefits.
  • Digestive: Honey is a proven and effective treatment for Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria, a common cause of stomach ulcers. It’s also a potent prebiotic, meaning it nourishes the good bacteria that live in the intestines, which are crucial not only for digestion but overall health.

Ultimately, our honey is the basis for all of our products and provides the energy to boost our journey to greater health and wellness. Our intention is as pure as the bees we keep, and its the foundation to humanity and what connects us!
