You have a bee to thank for every one in three bites of food you eat but honeybees are dying from a variety of factors—pesticides, drought, habitat destruction, nutrition deficit, air pollution, global warming and more.

WHAT SUSTAINS US MUST BE PROTECTED
The honeybee is a highly sophisticated insect that has evolved for over millions years. Honeybees are natures' pollinators—essential to the human food supply.
Bees are in trouble. And that means humans are in trouble, too. Widespread habitat loss, increased use of pesticides, and climate change has caused global bee populations to be on the decline. In the U.S., 1 in 4 wild bee species in the US is at risk of extinction.
We can’t let that happen. Many of the 20,000 species of bees pollinate 85 percent of food crops and fruits around the world. And it’s not just our food at risk—grazing animals rely on bees to pollinate nutrient-dense grasses like alfalfa and clover. Bees are integral to the health of our ecosystem at large.
Our small contribution together. We contribute to the research, teaching and sustainable beekeeping practices that will enable their population to thrive.

BEE FACTS
It takes 50,000 miles of flying and up to 2 million flowers to make 1 pound of honey.
One bee can fly up to 60 miles a day but will only make half a teaspoon of honey her lifetime.
That's why we're to enlighten our brothers and sisters to honor ourselves and our relationship with honeybees. Together, we can share the positive energy and mutual respect that will sustain us.
