ACHILLEA MILLEFOLLUM
EARTH ELEMENT
HARMONY QI 土

An herbaceous perennial and member of the aster family, Yarrow is a common herb found throughout North America and Europe. It has finely divided, almost feathery leaves, and tiny white or yellow flowers that form a flat-topped cluster. The genus name Achillea is derived from mythical Greek character, Achilles and a thousand leaves (millefolium). Achilles reportedly carries it with his army to treat battle wounds.

Yarrow is an ancient herb of Venus revered for its spiritual, physical, and magical healing properties.

Yarrow imparts strong licorice-like aroma with a sweet flavor and a somewhat bitter and astringent finish.
  • Bodily Effect: Yarrow can be used to staunch bleeding in deep wounds and reduce fever and to support healthy blood flow by normalizing circulation.
  • Emotional Effect: Yarrow is used to dispel melancholy, negative energy, lingering sorrow, or depression.
  • Spiritual Effect: Yarrow's affinity is for clearing away that which has invaded to the core and helping to repair boundaries afterward.
Magically, yarrow is used for courage, healing, and love.

"Revered for its magical powers, Yarrow is used in rituals involving love, courage or healing and has an affinity for moving deep, stuck energies."
